The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) published a series of gold-standard guidelines for cancer prevention, screening, treatment and care. Based on evidence and expert consensus, the recommendations are trusted internationally. Now, the guidelines are becoming accessible to patients and providers alike—for free!—via the searchable interactive NCCN Guidelines Navigator tool. Peruse it at NCCN.org/navigator. The project started with data on prostate, colon and rectal cancers. The goal is to include all 88 guidelines. According to NCCN CEO Crystal S. Denlinger, MD, “This is truly the future of cancer treatment guidelines.”
