A nine-day nonstop livestream from Warsaw broke a Guinness World Record by raising over $76 million (276 million zlotys) for the nonprofit Cancer Fighters Foundation, which helps children with cancer. (The previous world record for a livestream fundraiser was $19.5 million, reports People magazine.)
The Polish event streamed in April and was spearheaded by influencer Piotr Hancke, aka Latwogang, who rallied sports stars, singers and celebrities, many of whom shaved their heads to show support and garner viewers.
