About to start ADT? How about asking about estrogen patches as an alternative. You'll probably get a shrug. Not approved (yet!) in USA but I think it's moving forward as an equally successful AND MUCH LESS COSTLY ALTERNATIVE TO LUPRON/ELIGARD. But finding an MD familiar with and willing can be a problem. As a guy who has spent 20+ years on/off Lupron, I'm now seeing side effects that are starting to be a problem. Good luck to you, which ever path you take.
