The article for me about Stacey Latimer was truly a blessing but also a lesson about recovery. I had finished an extraordinary 34 year State Police Career and started Chapter 2 of my journey with a Full Time college teaching career. My first hurdle was a heart attack with an unbelievable back story. My next hurdle was a lump in my neck - throat cancer. During treatment I had a fall leaving left side paralysis. I read Lessons and Blessings and it changed my recovery outlook.
